Lunar Vistas with strange shadow
Tried imaging M20 last night but gave up due to bad seeing and moon glare
Captured some lunar images about 20 deg past the meridian

Seeing was on the poor side as the lunar terrain video was jumping around quite a bit even on lower mag
NB : if you look at the moon shots there is what looks like a rectangular shadow artifact on the upper region of the moon extending out from the terminator. Any ideas what this is or is it an actual moons mare areas in the shape of a rectangle ?? Very strange phenomenon
Moon was up around 50 deg in the north west with a clear view from my scope
I welcome any suggestions or comments
