Take a look at 24:10 - all the swarf.
Take a look at 28:16 - threads damaged by grub screws.
I'm still not sure if the EQ8 has a belt drive for both RA & DEC?
Does anyone have a link for a mechanical exploded view of the EQ8?
Any thoughts on the quality of the EQ8?
Is there a newer better version coming out?
