I am not doing much astrophotographic work as I use my mewlon 300 primarily for visual but I do dabble a little with my current Canon.
The Tak gear is very solid visual train for attaching the Canon as it is all securely screwed together.
I have 2 options:
Prime Focus <-----> FL/RD <-----> Wide T Mount <-----> Canon
and
Prime Focus <-----> 50.8 Sleeve Adaptor <-----> Wide T Mount <-----> Canon
