I’m using AVerTVCardbus Plus and used EasyCap before with GStar camera. Both capture devices had no problems capturing at 2.56 seconds interval on 3 different laptops running XP. But EasyCap’s maximum resolution is only 640x480 and video quality is worse then AverMedia card.that runs at 720x576. I can run both devices at same time – one using AV output of GStar and other SVideo..
Sometimes to get any of those frame buffer devices working correctly you need to run supplied software first, set the required parameters then close it and start capture program of your choice.
