The sbig site shows nikon and canon adapters for the 8300 and it's wheel. Maybe flog off the FW8-STL and get a FW8-8300 and an adapter?
I like the tak FS60CB for a small scope. It needs the flattener or reducer for imaging but both are available.

sorry, just realised the STL wheel will be 2" filters and the 8300 will be 36mm. doh.
