x185 27' x247 20'

NGC 4453 Multi-Galaxy Sys *
RA: 12h 28m 46.7s Dec: +06° 30' 43"
Mag: 15.8 (P) S.B.: --- B-V: --- Size: 0.6'x0.2' Class: S?
P.A.: 153 Inclination: --- R.V.: --- Source: RC3 *

This is a very tiny and extremely faint eg found between a mag 14 & 15 *s aligned E-W. 20" diameter spot if that of gossamer with no apparent central brightening. Not easily visible in the 12mm -- a little easier in the 9mm.

x185 27' x247 20'

NGC 4484 Galaxy *
RA: 12h 28m 52.7s Dec: -11° 39' 07"
Mag: 14.0 S.B.: --- B-V: --- Size: 1.5' Class: SA(s)c pec:
P.A.: --- Inclination: --- R.V.: +5010 Source: RC3 *

This eg sits isolated in the 5-6' away from anything of note. Plain-jane small round just under 1' diameter growing broadly and slightly to the centre without zones, core or nucleus.

IC 3413 Galaxy *
RA: 12h 29m 22.6s Dec: +11° 26' 02"

P.A.: 160 Inclination: --- R.V.: +1002 Source: RC3 *

This eg is to the SW by 6' from an 8th mag *. Small, round maybe 1' diameter and grows broadly and slightly to centre without nucleus. SB is okay without being high. There is an intermittently visible 15th mag sparkle on edge of the halo to the SW.

x185 27' x247 20'

NGC 4469 Galaxy *
RA: 12h 29m 28.1s Dec: +08° 45' 02"

P.A.: 87 Inclination: 6 R.V.: +576 Source: RC3 *

This is a lovely, mod bright eg. Good sized elong spiral maybe 2.75' x 1' grows only weakly in the outer halo to centre but has a large not well defined mod brighter core but no apparent nucleus. The SB is quite good and it's pretty easy to see. Dunno how this one escaped up till now.

P.A.: 35 Inclination: --- R.V.: +597 Source: RC3 *

This is a very small very LSB eg, round, maybe just over 1' diameter and 7' SE of an 8th mag *. Ill defined edges grows broadly and slightly to centre azonally without core or apparent nucleus. S.B is quite low but not outrageously so.

These two are to the south of and point at huge and brilliant M49. -66 is 20' S and -70 is 10'. -70 is the brighter of the two by some margin and weakly elong in PA 0, maybe 1.25' x 1' reasonable SB growing broadly and slight to centre but no real core or nucleus. No *s associated

-66 is in PA 90, somewhat faint, small slightly lengthened and pointed patch growing weakly to the axis nr centre but has no real core or nucleus. No *s immediately associated. 50" x 20".

-13 is 4' SW of an 8th mag * that is somewhat of a distraction. Pretty faint but not too hard to see. Small, 40", round with a slight central brightening and a whiff of a very faint stellaring in the centre. There is a very faint * just off the SW edge of the halo. -18 is fainter in SB and magnitude. It is 5' SSE of that * as a really very, very faint ephemeral scrap of weak gossamer that seems about 40" diameter and has no structure. Took some time to see.

-37 is a about 12' SE of -18 in an adjoining field and is no more that 10" diameter -- and almost *ar spot of weak haze no structure.

NGC 4482 (IC 3427) Galaxy *
RA: 12h 30m 10.3s Dec: +10° 46' 46"
Mag: 13.7 (P) S.B.: --- B-V: --- Size: 1.7'x0.9' Class: E
P.A.: 130 Inclination: --- R.V.: +1845 Source: RC3 *

This eg forms a RA tri with a couple of *s 11th & 12 mag to its E and SE about 6' away. Slightly elong in about PA 150, small lowish though not bad SB 1' x 40" growing to the centre broadly and weakly at first and nearer centre slightly to centre where there is an occasional whiff of a tiny weak spot.

This eg is found to the NE by one medium-power field to M87. Very tiny faint scrap of haze, quite difficult to see, very LSB takes a bit of concentration to see. Perhaps 30" diameter, round and brightens weakly to centre.

P.A.: --- Inclination: --- R.V.: +1372 Source: RC3 *

A very small eg found W by 12' from a 5th-6th mag * that should be excluded from the field -- very distracting. Probably about 30-40" diameter and round, lowish but not unreasonable SB growing broadly and slightly to the centre with the hint of a small weakly brighter zone dead centre.

-03 is by far and away the brightest of these and it is the RA in a small RA tri with a mag 11 * to its SSW 3' and a mag 12.5 * to its E 6'. An oval eg not as big of as bright as it would seem in the DSS pic but pretty good, probably 2' x 40" in PA 15 good SB halo with a small maybe 10" diameter round mod br core zone but no apparent nucleus. To it's N 6' is IC 3470.

-70 seems fainter on the DSS than in the ep though somewhat fainter and smaller than -03. Round 30" diameter, reasonable SB growing broadly and slightly in brightness to the centre but no *s associated. To its NE by 10 is a short line of three very small and faint to very faint egs -- IC 3481, 81A and -83.

-81 is similar in appearance to -70 about 30" diameter, slightly lower in SB rising mod to centre where there is a very faint stellaring and is 3' SSE of a mag 12 *. -81A is only 40” E as a very tiny 10" spot of ephemeral mist, very LSB but rising to centre. Sky-Map.org shows a very interesting faint bridge between these two eg, the brighter of which is an ARP eg. This feature not seen in the ep -- obviously. -83 is 3' SE of these two.

-83 is immediately S of an 11th mag * which is very distracting and difficult. Maybe 15" diameter spot -- difficult to see structure that close to a "bright" star.

-74 is 20' W of NGC 4527. Very small, skinny streak-lie faint eg about 1' x 5" in about PA 30, very, very LSB gossamery texture hardly growing at all to centre if indeed at all.

-27 is about 2.75' x 30" in PA 75, lowish SB outer halo but there is a quite noticeably brighter small long oval axial streak at centre maybe 1' long in the same PA containing a small, slightly brighter sub-stellar nucleus. The SB overall is quite good.

This eg is pointed at by the long side of a RA tri of mag 12 *s to its SE 9' away. Very, very faint very, very LSB patch of gossamer 50" diameter with no apparent structure or central brightening.

These three small and faint egs form an evenly spaced line running SW to NE crossing most of the field. -90 is at the SW end, -10 at the NE end and -99 centre. -99 is also 10' NW of a mag 8*. -99 in the centre is the best though. Elong in PA 150 pointing at the bright *, reasonable though lowish SB, 50" x 10" seems to grow a little tothe axis nr centre.

-90 is a very tiny, 10" diameter spot of ephemeral gossamer, no structure seen. -10 is again, only about 15" diameter and probably a fraction brighter than -90, though the view is hampered by a mag 13 * immediately NE. Very faint. difficult though not as bad as -90.
