These 5 eg form a group about 20' SW from the bright eg NGC 4365. They are in a wiggly line N-S. NGC 4343 is the brightest and S most in the group and is easy to see -- somewhat elong in PA 120 with a small round slightly brighter core zone 1.5' x 45" LSB diffuse outer halo growing to the axis nr centre and core/nucleus.

NGC 4342 is S by 5'. Slightly better SB than -43 but smaller almost *ar nucleus at about mag 14, small halo 40 x 20" growing mod to centre and dominated by the nucleus.

NGC 4341 is 5' NE from -42. Elong in about PA 90, 40" x 20" but fainter and lower SB than the preceding two. Has a faint halo growing slightly to centre and a faint *ar nucleus. IC 3259 is 5' N and IC 3267 is 5' SE from -41.

-67 is a very small very LSB spot 30" diameter with a hint of a very faint spot core/nucleus and faint halo. -59 is slightly elong in PA 0, off-round faint LSB halo 30" diameter, very LSB weak brightening to centre. -67 is possibly slightly larger and brighter overall than -59.

This eg appears to the S of an 9th mag * by 4'. Reasonably easy to see, seems under-represented on the DSS. Small, slightly elong in PA 90, probably 40" x 20" or 50" x 30" growing to a very small, slightly elong core/nucleus.

This eg is only a low-power field and a half from the centre of the Virgo cluster. It appears in the midst of a long, straggling, roughly E-W line of mag 10-12 *s that crosses most of the field. Small, 50" diameter round blob of very LSB haze weakly brighter to the centre but no core or nucleus.

This eg appears in a very small long pointed I tri 3' x 1' of = br mag 12.5 *s. Round, probably no more than 40" diameter without any real structure, growing broadly and slightly to the centre without core or nucleus.

-18 is the dominant member of the pair and is between a small I, almost RA tri of mag 13.5*s to it's N and a 10th mag * to its SW by 4'. Appears to be elong in about PA 60, small, not bright halo with a * just above it to the N of 14th mag not far off the halo, 50" x 30 growing slightly to the centre where there is a tiny stellaring/core. MCG+0-32-13 is 2.5' SE and is nothing more than a 20" diameter, round spot of gossamer with no structure, weak central brightening.

This is really quite a nice, extremely LSB slash of gossamer in PA 0. Probably 1.75' x 5" growing weakly to the centre with no apparent core, zones or nucleus. Very blank field -- only a handful of very, very faint *s -- none associated.

No *s immediately associated, this is a fairly small, about 1' diameter round eg that looks like a very distant elliptical. Grows mod & evenly to centre where there is a small faint almost stellar sub-stellar nucleus.

Of these two 4428 is in PA 90 and -33 in PA 0 but are pretty similar to each other. -33 is 7' S of -28. Both are pretty easy to see. -33 seems to have a faint mag 15* on axis at the N tip. Both seem about 1.25' x 20", similar oval shaped ovals that seem to be slightly "tipped". Both seem to grow broadly and slightly to the axis nr centre but no real core zone or nucleus.

These two are one low-power field E from M49 and may be associated. -34 is a small, round eg with a *ar nucleus and a mag 13 * to its NW by 3.5', round about 30-40" dia growing mod & evenly to the centre where the small, faint *ar nucleus dominates. MCG +1-32-71 is 4' SE

MCG +1-32-71 is a very faint small 20" diameter spot of very faint mist with no other structure. Very LSB.

-4452 is found about 7' SE of a mag 7 * that is clearly yellow if not orangeish. Spectacular little edge on sliver. Very elong edge on spiral in about PA 30 and has pretty good S.B. 2' -2.25 - 15" in PA 30, grows to the axis which is fairly strong most of the way out to the tips, and slightly along the axis to centre. Directly S of the Br * by only 3' is IC 3381. Very small LSB non-descript round scrap of haze about 40" diameter with a broad, slight concentration to centre but no apparent core or nucleus.

A beautiful edge on spiral of low SB, very elong 1.75' x 10" in PA 120, points to the NW to a mag 14 * about 2' NW. Wispy, LSB gossamery texture to the thin, tipped halo brightening weakly to the axis nr centre but no apparent core nucleus.

This eg is almost due N of a mag 13/15 wide pair by about 2'. Seems to be round, reasonable SB. Poss elong in PA ) off round 40" growing broadly and slightly to the centre without zones or nucleus. Reasonable SB -- easy to see.

This small quite faint eg is a low power field from the centre of the Virgo cluster. Very small and very faint eg (-93). Maybe 20" diameter, round and of consistent SB -- perhaps grows weakly to centre without zones.

-88 is a very tiny 10" diameter spot of haze about 5' SW of -93. Extremely faint. Only intermittently visible. No structure visible.
