Sync operation in Stallerium

Hi, I am just after a bit of information in regards to the Sync operation in Stallerium.
Or i guess what i am really trying to do is a 4 or 6 star alignment, Basically the same as what you do using the hand held unit to do a 2 or 3 star alignment

I have yet to try it out as work commitments mean i can only really get out to try these things every 3rd week which is a pain.

Basically looking for the sync options when first starting out to align with stars so the scope knows where it is pointing at.

Not using the hand held controller, Have to laptop plugged into the USB on the mount.
Using EQMOD, Stallerium

So first step is get the mount polar aligned
The next step is to tell the scope where it is pointing at ( star alignment )

This is the step i am referring to.
So in Stallerium, i have read two different operations for the same function, The sync operation i think it is called, ( find a star, center it, and sync the scope to it )
So the two operations i have read are:
Ctrl 3 and the other is Ctrl Shift 1
Just looking to find out which one it is.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Peter.
