Is this a symptom of a bad Compact Flash card?
I was warned about the quality of $12 8-gig compact flash cards..
Is this attachment a symptom of a dud card?
Out of 2 recent sessions, about 30% of the first 15 photos have crud through it like the attached. But after that, they are all fine.
A bad few sectors on the start of the card?
In any case, I think i'll put my 1gig card back in for the time being and buy a better quality one - better to be safe than sorry. Would hate to lose some great shots from a session due to this.
