The Sun in Ca II K and Ha 28102020

I had another go at the Sun today knowing that for the rest of the week weather-wise it is going to be bleak. I imaged first in Ha and then switched to double stack mode (thanks again Ken for your good advice re aspects of tuning in this area). I still have a long way to go but today’s results are an improvement from the last outing.
In Ca II K, I noted some very small prominences. The contrasting surface features and in particular AR12778 were quite prominent. Luckily I completed what I had set out to do. Enter the clouds…
