H-a filter and GSO coma corrector

Hi all,
I was wondering if its worthwhile getting a GSO newtonian coma corrector for my f/5 scope with a cropped frame (450d).
I've read that it wont make too much difference unless I use a full frame camera.
Also im looking at getting a clip in H-a filter but again I've read mixed info on these. I have a modded 450d but will the filter make much difference on what im already imaging?
Cheers
Andy
