I was lucky enough to catch the aurora a couple of times during a month long visit to Tasmania in November. I was surprised just how colourful and bright it was to the naked eye too.
These shots were taken with my Samyang 14mm, wide open on my Canon 5D MkII, ISO1600, 30s.

Well in the process of learning how to fix it, I learned how to tweek my 24mm to perfection! I could process the edge effects a bit better, but this lovely lens is back on top as my favorite
