Building a pillow block EQ-Mount 40mm SS shaft.

Progress on the Equatorial Mount, I'm starting to build the latitude part of the mount. In the end I am using pillow block bearing for both axis, similar to Matt has in another post with his pillow block mount. There are two flange bearings in the pier, with fine thread movement in azimuth. I used a angle grinder right angle gear box to achieve that. I am enjoying the build to have the mount as portable as possible to fit in Corolla. The telescope 12 side tube has passed stage one in the build, and is ready for sanding. Clear skies, Michael
