I don't know which APS-C you are referring to, but my a77 is 28.1mm on the diagonal. A Nikon D5000 is 28.4mm. A Canon 7D is 26.8mm. Different brands have different crop factors. eg Sony and Nikon are ~1.5 and Canon ~1.6
