Great to see you got a result, and it's not too shabby at that. Sounds like a bit of work to control that beast.
I guess that's why people steer away from truss tube and collapsible dobs as eq imaging conversions.
My 10" is a solid tube and easy to slide up and down and rotate to tweak the balance if needed. Collimation changing I'm not sure about, my 10" is stable in all orientations, but I do have the mirror firm in its cell and use a long (beefed up) dovetail bar to keep the tube rings wide apart.
