I am very impressed at your speed and subtlety in note writing Malcolm. I had no idea you were making notes - you obviously get your concise but very effective descriptions down very rapidly! Great report of a fun session! I'll be interested to hear how you get on with M83 from home. Before that session I'd never browsed Canes Venatici much as I have some trees on my northern horizon and some glow from Bendigo, so it was great to follow your lead and have a prowl around with the hunting dogs.
