Ok, looks like I might get to use my new DSLR tonight, can someone give me some....
...pointers?
I have a canon 1000d and the T ring and a 2" adapter. Running it through an 8" F4.5 Newt on an HEQ5 mount, unguided for the moment. I'm only looking at taking wide field shots, as I figure that would be the easiest place to start. What settings should I put the camer on.
Do I need to do anything with the white balance? I know how to add a custom white balance but if you are taking pictures of the sky what is my frame of reference for white balance. I'm thinking that its not so important, am ai wrong?
What ISO should I use for very light polouted skies?
Thanks in advance.
