Green Sky

Thanks Mark.

To-night I tested the two cameras this time with a lens attached, at home in Castle Hill, an outer suburb of Sydney, mounted on a tripod and I took 15 minutes exposures. no sign of any green colour.

The green images were taken at 11 pm at Kenthurst, in rural surroundings outside Sydney. sky brightness at time of taking the images were, believe it or not, 22, amazing. usually around 20 . Other images were taken at Maroota, a very dark country site. So one would think that there would not be much light pollution. I have often taken images at Kenthurst before.
However, there being no reasonable explanation for the green colour on those nights I am looking forward to another session at those two sites in the near future in order to do some more testing. I shall get hold of the software that you suggested Mark.
regards
Ken
