Have not read much about it but there is a new Digital Setting Circle controller out there and the specs are very interesting.
Nexus DSC from Astro Devices has:
- 1.7 Million objects in its database
- GPS
- WiFi
- Up to 6 scope setups in the memory
- Up to 120 custom observing lists in Skysafari format possible
- USB upgradable without special software
- Multi line 100 step dimmable OLED display
- Illuminated dimmable number keys
- Build in LiIon battery
From an connection side it seems like a drop in fit with encoders using the same cables as Argo and others.
