Thanks for that Dunk, not something I had considered. I do want to use for normal and astro, so the kit lenses will be put to good use.
Having a look around seems one of the more recommended but not too expensive lenses is the Samyang/Rokinon 14mm F/2.8. Now $400 odd is not something to sneeze at so this might have to come later. How useful/less are the kit lenses for nightscapes?
