The flocking was adhesive black velvet found in the wallpapers section at Bunnings hardware.
Its nice and black but if you use it, make sure you use strips instead of circumnavigating the tube with one piece.
I did and now its pulling away from the tube due to shrinkage and its damn near impossible to cut with a knife once in place
