$400, steel pier featuring:
- 1m long, 73mm pipe with 8mm thick walls
- 200mm x 200mm x 5mm steel top levelling plate, with M10 bolts to level
- Hole in attached 5mm top plate to fill with fine sand to reduce vibrations
- Solid 20mm flange base, ready for bolting to concrete or other solid surface
- Custom colour (flat black will be default)
- Can add a shelf, or eyepiece rack, or any other required customisation for a little extra if required.
- 5mm thick gussets for strength of top plate
- Three layers of rust guard paint (primer + 2 coats of an enamel)
Free delivery to Melbourne metro and suburbs. Regional VIC and interstate postage is $40 extra. Custom height - default will be 105cm (slightly adjustable with the bolts), and weight is around 18kg.
The pictured pier featured an additional 5mm custom plate to accommodate a specific telescope mount. Work like this will be a little extra. Just send a PM if you think you're interested
