Thanks for that. Still working it out as there is alot to learn. Learning in stages and working out what i am not doing right or could be done better. Everyone has been really helpful even to get me started.

With M42 you generally have to over-expose the trapezium stars to show the nebulosity well.
Your shots are looking good. Just a little more gain or exposure should do it.
