re tripod
a friend of mine recently bought a tripod for his 400D canon at
SIRUS OPTICS in Brisbane for $169,its very goog had 5kg pay load,
allowed full tilt of camera,i was very impressed with it for the price
and may end up buying one,the ones you mention,some are very expensive!
