6" Maksutov-Newtonian telescope - Reduced

I have this fine telescope, with many extras, for sale.

Intes MN66 Maksutov-Newtonian 6" F/6 telescope. S/No. 12M1.

Approx. 21% central obstruction (by dia).


Shown on the scope for display and included are:

· Two original finder mounts and the original 10 x 50 finder scope which has a dew shield and adjustable reticule eyepiece.
· Stellarview SV50 50mm f/4 RACI finder held in Explore Scientific rings with an attaching boot. This finder has a helical focuser and includes the original Stellarview 23mm FMC eyepiece (no cross hairs). Takes standard 1.25" eyepieces.
· Boot (only) for Rigel Quikfinder.


Comes with all the following:
Cooling fan (rear fit).
Original Certificate of Optical Quality (Mike Palermiti)

Upgraded by Mike with a 2" JMI NGF-DX1 dual speed Crayford focuser with 2" to 1.25" adapter.
One 50mm x 2", and one 35mm x 2" extension tube.
Fitted rotating rings from Parallax Instruments attached to a 280mm x 100mm

Losmandy dovetail mounting plate.
Original tube holder with carrying handle and soft carry case; collimation adjustment Allen keys.
Orion glass solar filter to fit.
Astrozap flexible dew shield to fit.
All in excellent condition.

Minor cosmetic marks on scope tube. Telegizmo solar scope cover to fit.


Currently available at Benalla (Victoria): $1,800.

Reason for selling? Replaced by CPC1100 in an observatory - see picture.
