Bah!...the self guide feature is a throwback to the old SCT without mirror lock days
it is rather overated, hence the need for the external guide head, hello!! = piggyback guiding again
. Look at the enormous plethora of non self guided pin sharp high rsolution award winning pictures out there
Mega cooling (without water, plastic tubes, buckets of ice and pumps) low noise, fast download, inert gas filled imaging chambers for no recharging of desicant and no fogging and accurate orthoganal chip placement are all FAR better to have
What ever you get Humi it will be a huge leap up from the DSLR, so have heaps of fun mate!
