I've never tried any of the Takahashi eyepieces. The 28mm Erfle intrigues me. For Takahashi to re-introduce this older type of eyepiece must mean there is a market for them in Japan. I presume it is the combination of wide field and light weight that makes them viable in the marketplace. I have not seen much in the way of user reports.
