I cop the same problem with the red dot finder with my Sky-Watcher 130p tabletop Dobsonian. Anything at less than about 25 degrees off vertical, I simply cannot bend my neck and body enough to manage to use the RDF to find.
To solve that, I'm looking at getting the Saxon 9x50 Finderscope with Bracket (90 degree) from Astro Anarchy.
