I've only used it at 1750~2800mm myself, although I dare say it will make a positive difference in shorter focal length work... Although with shorter focal lengths, the affects of seeing don't usually make a great deal of difference to the final image... I think anything over 1000mm would benefit from AO, anything over 1500mm I think it starts to become worth its weight in gold.
