That's pretty good, I've got a lot of processing to do too. One thing with taking lots of frames is it takes longer to process, but the results are better too. Yes Andrew it's so much better with tracking, it's almost like a luxury after trying to do it without it!
I just processed one with the double shadow, had over 11000 frames. Took the best 90% in PIPP, then stacked with AS2! 10, 25, 50 and 80 % of that. This was the 80% I think. Others may come up better but will take time. One shadow on each side, much further apart than the last 2 times and no red spot:
