Have you seen any prices for the ASI094? I had a look at the ZWO site and it mentioned it as a new product in the headlines but it wasn't listed in their products list.
If it can be controlled by a smartphone and you had a small motorcycle battery it could still be a nightscape camera at a pinch.
More likely mount it piggyback with a good lens and set it to work on 5-10minute subs of the Milky Way.
Its the same sensor as the Nikon D800/Sony A7r/Pentax K1. Its a Sony Exmor 36mp sensor. I had one in both an At and a D800e Nikon. A very nice sensor.
