I know that sinking feeling. It must be smash em up week.
Two days ago I was messing about with my 2 month old Pentax K-x and barely 1 month old ED80 on a photo tripod. I walked into the other room for something and heard an almighty crash. One of the tripod legs collapsed and the lot hit the floor. Looks like the Pentax took the worst of it. A big crack in the case, dust all over the prism and the auto focus is busted.
The ED80 seems okay apart from a bent focuser, but I'm sure more damage has been done that will come to light later.
Just makes me wonder why I bother.
