I'm new to the DSLR cameras as well.
I am after one for my wife for Christmas, she is after ease of use and for mainly family photos.
No astro use.
I seen the Nikon 3100 with a dual lense kit on sale at the local retailer for $1080.
Are these a good every day use DSLR for a newbie to get into?
It comes with local warranty as it through a local retailer.
Are the online companies that sell grey ones, can you get them serviced here in Brisbane should something go wrong or are they reliable enough to get say the 60D for a grey price?
My budjet is $1400 max.
