Yeah I've been chucking everything in & letting it go for it too, seems to work pretty good just wasn't sure if it was the best method.

I gave the seperate stacks a try out without much difference (bit worse) but my data wasn't the best (no flats), should have really used Iris to get rid of the worst of the gradient at least.
As you say H, nicely calibrated would make a difference.

Thinking this might be like regular PS processing, what works for one image may not work for another...lots of tinkering & trial & error.
Spending more time in the software than at the scope.
