Excellent report Malcolm. Some great targets there. I agree with your description of 3242 - it looked more like Neptune than Jupiter, distinctly bluish. Almost as blue as 3918. That 5189 PN in Musca is a real stunner, especially with a filter. I haven't caught up with 3699 in Centaurus yet. Maybe when this rubbish cloud blows away.
