For every AltAz GoTo Mount that I have owned, correctness of level has made a huge difference on accuracy of GOTO’s
In every other circumstance...if you are setting up an EQ permanently or in the field why would anyone do a half assed job and not level perfectly ???
From a practical sense it only takes a very small amount of extra effort over a “close enough” level anyway so why skimp.
