Thanks Colin - I find the Mewlons seem well suited to WL solar imaging. I use the Baader ND3.8 which is the astrophotography film rather than the ND5 which is for visual. This gives me plenty of elbow room to use very short exposures, although your 250mm aperture may need the addition of e.g. a Solar Continuum filter to "dim" the light as it were?
