I've been using my Sandisk 8GB card with my cameras for a v.long time and no issues yet.
I love the convenience of almost 'unlimited' space on the CF to shoot anything I want but you have to remember to delete and format once in a while LOL.

Just be careful of the cheaper cards, I wouldn't trust just any brand.

Also, I'm sure you know already, but it's a good habit to format the CF card in camera, not just delete the images via your computer.

Also I find the 8GB capacity ideal because if you happen to get a memory error or corruption on your card you may loose a LOT of images if it's a full 16GB or higher card.

I like having extra cards rather than one larger card.
