They won't fit on a 40D either, as the 40D has a different interchangable focussing screen holder/clip to the 10/20/30/300/350/400D.
I emailed the people in Germany and they said they are thinking about making a version that fits the 40D.
As for the 1D and 5D, they have a larger mirror which will hit the filter when the mirror swings up.
