Transit of Ganymede and Europa across Jupiter, 4 June 2020

I had been looking forward to this dual transit all week, unfortunately for Melbourne high clouds spoiled the party. Since I had already set up my equipment I took some images anyway, but the quality of the images is quite low.

Andy Campbell managed to get a great shot of the moon surrounded by the clouds (see his Facebook page), unfortunately they made taking high quality images of Jupiter and its moons impossible.

Attached is an animated gif of the transit, don't expect too much!
