I made an ASI 1600 Gain/Offset calculator

Hi all,

I know the accepted wisdom is to 'just leave it at 50', but for those crazy people who want to squeeze that extra 1% out of their cameras, I have created a calculator that determines the intermediate values based on a quadratic regressive fit.

So if you want to know what the offset should be if you're using a gain of say, 210, you type it in and it will tell you (32).

I include it here for others who may wish to use it. Note, you will have to be using the ASI Driver rather than the ASCOM driver, which hides the offset setting (the ASI driver still shows up in SGP, if installed, alongside the ASCOM driver).

I protected the cells that don't require input, but I'm not sure if I did it right. Let me know if there are any issues and I will correct them.

Cheers,

Markus
