It may be worth not using the filter, and shorter subs, to capture the stars without over exposing them and editing them into the capture with the Light pollution filter exposing the nebula. It would take a fair bit of extra work though.

You could be right Nathan. This is my first outing with this filter. Although I notice Chris disagrees and he’s had the STC for a lot longer than I have. I’m going out again in the next couple of nights so we’ll see what happens then.
