Hi Alex,
When you say that you
"find they are 36 volt", how did you come to that conclusion: measurement of the output or from the info on the name/data plate on the panel. The reason I ask is that a 24Volt solar panel will typically have an open circuit voltage in to the 30Volt plus range.
To be more clear about the possibilities, could you post a picture of the manufacturer's data label?
