Assuming the cable you are using will work as an EQMod cable & I'm not sure if it will, is there an option to select 'EQ Mod' rather than HEQ5 Pro?
I know with the software I use (which is also ASCOM/INDII based) you select EQ Mod rather than the specific mount.. However, I use an EQMod cable so, not sure if the way you have it connected will in fact work.
See if that is an option & if that solves your problem
