Wow This was close to a miracle.
I first went to a site which I didn't think was ideal, but I didn't think it was that bad with light pollution, so I started to RUN with my dob to another darker location. That was better. I took out my dob and the finderscope came off!!!! Luckily the moon is not difficult to find. I found it but the dob was not collimated any more after running... Luckily I did have my laser collimator, so I managed to collimate it JUST in time for the occultation...
I even managed to take a couple of pics which don't seem to be so bad...
Now I am watching the exit online...

PPS: Yeah, I just looked at the pics again and they are better than expected considering how utterly desperate I was just a couple of minutes before the occultation!
