I can't see how this would be a light leak. The sensor chamber in the QHY9 is sealed and in the middle of the camera physically. There's no way stray light would get in there. Maybe an uneven cooling issue?
You can shoot darks indoors at night anyway. That's what I do, on the kitchen table. Just the camera.
