Lake Weyba

First nightscape for quite some time. I recently travelled up to the Sunshine Coast to visit family and managed to capture this one evening.

It is a two panel mosaic with each panel comprised of 7 exposures stacked in Sequator. I tried a bit of light painting on the tree but the battery in my torch started to die so it was only partially successful. Each exposure was 15 seconds at ISO 3200 and f2.8 with a Pentax K-5 DSLR through a Samyang 14mm f2.8 lens.

Lake Weyba is a shallow lake not far from Noosa on the Sunshine Coast and the 'Weyba Tree', which hangs out over the water on the western side of the lake made for a good foreground object.
