[QUOTE=m11;1447101]Would be interesting to view. Will be out to view this. It's saying it's going to clear around 9pm.

Thanks for the heads up.[/QUOTE.]
Thats past though Io is back morrow night 9 22pm..from Sydney.

BIG GANYMEDE..1.7" is back for transit Friday night 27th Sept 2019 Eastern States Oz.

20h19.4m..
Jupiter-Moon GanymedeTransit Begin (III.Tr.I.; 5.4 mag) Altitude=40.8° Azimuth=268°21h35.0m

21h 35m..Jupiter-Moon Ganymede Inferior Conjunction (III.Cj.I.; 5.4 mag) Altitude=25.2° Azimuth=258.6°22h50.5m

22h 50m ..Jupiter-Moon GanymedeTransit End (III.Tr.E.; 5.4 mag) Altitude=10.1° Azimuth=249.4°.

PS: If youve got a 4 inch or larger scope and high power you'll ACTUALLY see its real disk and not just the spurious disk (a diffraction effect)of small apertures.
Hope that helps.
