Advice sought re mono

I have gone mono again with a lovely SX H674 mono (used to be Stuart's, before that Graham's and so on - it's done the IIS rounds ), but also keeping my SX M26C APS-C sized sensor OSC camera.

I am at the point of deciding whether to go against my tastes and buy a full NB suite for it, or to just go LRGB-H-a. Seems a touch redundant doing LRGB with it considering the OSC M26C (which captures a MUCH larger piece of real estate than the H674 ), so....

Is a mono shooting LRGB really THAT much better than an OSC CCD? I have read the articles, looked at the Starizona comparisons, and honestly, if doing just LRGB vs OSC, there is sweet FA difference in it.

Thinking out aloud, and with my cheap-a$$ hat on, do RGB with the OSC, then shoot H-a with the mono, then crop and combine....
