The UV/IR filter I'm talking about is the one that came with the camera. Ive just taken it out of the camera and took a shot with out it and I can't see any reflections at all. I have posted a comparison pic. If the sensor was not square, I would get an off centre reflection no matter what was in the imaging train, I would have thought. My normal setup is
camera>original UV/IR noise piece> extender tube>mpcc>IDAS LPS P2 filter(image 1).
I then tried this combo
camera>extender tube>UV/IR nose piece>mpcc IDAS LPS P2 filter(image 2).
I then tried this combo
camera>extender tube>mpcc>IDAS LPS P2 filter(image 3).
I'm about to try this combo
camera> original UV/IR nose piece> extender tube>IDAS LPS P2 filter.
I really think at this stage it is an original nose piece filter problem. I have to take a couple more shots before I can say for sure, but that"s what it looks like.
Any other suggestions I could try apart from pulling the camera apart?
